Hi, friends! Incase you haven’t heard, it looks like Facebook is at it again … this time, it’s changing our newsfeeds. So if you’ve been missing me on Facebook, please know I’ve really been missing YOU too!
Thankfully, there’s a simple solution to ensure that you don’t miss out on the latest updates from The Nourishing Home. By following these few easy steps, you can make sure you not only see my posts, but the posts of your other favorite pages as well.
1. Simply visit The Nourishing Home FB page and hover over the LIKED button. As shown above, you’ll see an option to create a “New List.” Once you click on +New List, you will see The Nourishing Home added to your list, as shown below.
2. If you’d like to add more of your favorite pages, just click on “Pages,” and continue adding your favorite pages to your new list. When done, click the NEXT button at the bottom of the page.
3. It’s now time to name your new list. You can also opt to make your list public and share it with friends, or opt to keep it private. When you’re finished, click the DONE button at the bottom of the page.
4. Now, here’s the best part … once you have your list set up, you can click on the little pencil icon on the left of your list name and select “Add to Favorites.” As shown below, this will move your FAVORITE PAGES list (or whatever you decide to call it) right to the top of your FAVORITES, for quick and easy access.
5. From now on, you can click on your new list and be able to see ALL of the recent posts for all of the pages in your list, as shown above! Woo Hoo! No more missing out on the posts of your favorite pages!
BTW, my friend Christy at Grocery Geek has a great video that she posted that walks you through this process step-by-step, if you’d like to see how quick and easy it is via a live demo – thanks, Christy!
Why did I write this post? Because I really do miss YOU … so I hope you’ll take a quick minute to make sure The Nourishing Home is part of your FAVORITE PAGES newsfeed. (P.S. You can also find me on Pinterest – Kelly @ The Nourishing Home! Hope we can be pin-pals too!)
Thanks, friends! Blessings to you, Kelly

Thank you so much for providing this information for our readers. I have been wanting to post something similar too. FB has really made it difficult for our readers to find/follow/comment. Like you, I REALLY miss the daily interaction with them! They are such a blessing to me. Thanks again for the great tutorial!

Thanks, Torrie. It’s a bummer how FB is changing the news feeds. I’m glad you found this helpful! I wanted to be sure to provide this info so that my friends can not only keep current with my FB posts, but all of their other favorite pages as well. Glad that came through in the post. Appreciate your kind words! Blessings to you, Kelly 🙂

Thanks for the great tutorial! I just shared it on my facebook page as well 🙂

My pleasure! FB is making me crazy! LOL! But hopefully if more people set-up their own news feeds lists, we won’t be missed. 🙂

Thanks Kelly for sharing this useful information. I’ll make sure that your page is included in my list ☺
Kelly says
Thanks, Mary! I’m sharing this at all of the blog hops this week because I’m not happy about FB messing with our news feeds and determining randomly what we should see. My hope is that if more people are aware of this, it will benefit all of us. Lots of blessings, Kelly 🙂

It is quite a pain how facebook keeps changing things. I suppose it’s like what we do with our blogs, continually moving things around and doing some improvements here and there. Thanks for the instructions and head’s up!

You’re so welcome, Nicole. I’m hoping that the more people who find out about this, the more people will create their own lists so they don’t miss out on the news feeds they’d like to see. So feel free to share this info with your readers. Blessings, Kelly 🙂
Toqua's Crafts says
Unfortunately this is not a fix for the business pages.
I only wish it were so easy.
Kelly says
That’s a shame! Sorry to hear that, Toqua. It’s a bummer that FB is limiting news feeds unless you pay to reach the people who like you, or figure out a way for your fans to see your posts/updates. 🙁

My pleasure! It’s a bummer, I know. But I guess FB is trying to find new ways to make $$$. Appreciate you leaving a kind note! 🙂 Blessings, Kelly
