A heart of GRATITUDE … As we celebrate the launch of The Nourishing Home blog, I want to thank the Lord for providing this opportunity for me to minister in this way. It is my continued prayer that He will enable me to use this blog as a means to glorify Him and be a source of encouragement for many to come to know Him, love Him and serve Him. I’d also like to thank my hubby and boys for their encouragement, great ideas and patience – they are such a blessing from God! Thank you to my Mom as well for being such an encourager!
And last, but certainly not least … A huge thank you to the team of special friends who worked tirelessly behind the scenes putting this blog together! Julie at Deluxe Designs worked right up to the birth of her son to get this site built and launched – she is simply amazing and I owe her a debt of gratitude for all of her skill and hard work! A special thank you to my sweet and talented friend Nancy Panaccione for her generosity in creating all of the artwork on the site – she is such a gifted artist and such a wonderful sister in Christ! I also want to thank designer-extraordinaire Em Arata for creating The Nourishing Home logo – she captured so well the warmth and inviting spirit of fun that I hope to impart to everyone who visits!
And heartfelt thanks and blessings to each of you! My heart is to help! So let me know if there is something you’d find of benefit in your pursuit of living a more nourished life in service to the King!

Hi Kelly,
I just “found” your blog and wow. It is so nicley done. I can’t wait to read more of your journey. I too was diagnosed in 2006 with Crohns disease, which is inflammation of the bowel. The pain was horrible and so were the medicines. I made the decision to change my lifestyle and lost 42 pounds. I love living healthy and helping others do the same. I have prayed for direction on how I can share my passion and your blog inspires me. I have a blog but it is just a life in general blog. I am a fellow sister in Christ who adores Jesus and what he has provided for me in my life. God has recently opened a path for me but that’s a long story. One I hope to share in the future. I just continue to pray for His leading in all I do. I have a wonderful husband and two precious daughters. My oldest suffered a brain injury at 18months and that left her similar to CP. She is full care but such a blessing. She understands everything and has such a sweet personality. She has truly blessed my life and God has used her and continues to use her in huge ways. All, all glory to GOD! My youngest daughter (7) is full of life and spunky. She is tons of fun and such a compassionate, caring, kind kid who loves her sister with a big heart! I look forward to reading what you post and chatting thru comments.

Hi, Tricia! So great to meet you! Thank you for sharing your story with me. I am always excited to meet my sisters in Christ across the globe! What a blessing that you are heeding the guidance of the Lord in all you do. It took me a year before I finally started this blog, after much prayer and discussion with my hubby and waiting on the Lord for His will in this. I really enjoy cooking healthy and have a passion to share it with others, but more so, I want to bring God glory in all I do and my hope is that each person who stops by, won’t just be inspired to nourish their bodies with real food, but also be inspired to nourish their bodies with real life in Christ! Thanks for stopping by to check out my new site and also to say HI and share a little about yourself! Blessings, Kelly
P.S. I love your email address: radically blessed! What a positive light for Jesus you are! 🙂
