One of my favorite things to do besides cooking is to teach others about the how to live a real food lifestyle! That’s why I’m so excited that my friends at Whole Foods Market have asked me to present a free Kombucha 101 class at their beautiful new store in Laguna Niguel, CA. So if you live in the Orange County, CA area, I would love to meet you in person and share some laughs and great conversation together about the joys of brewing Kombucha! And please be sure to invite your Kombucha-loving friends!

Hi Kelly! Is there anyway that you could do a blog post about making this? I am very new to the real food lifestyle, but have recently found out about Kombucha. There isn’t anywhere around me who sells it, and I am trying to learn how to make it! Thank you for your blog, it has been so helpful.

Hi, Courtney! You are right on target! I have recently taken a bunch of photos (well, I should give credit where it’s due – my son took the photos) while I was making Kombucha at home. I did this because I do plan to do a cultured food series and include a post with tons of resources for brewing bucha. In the meantime, I highly recommend the expert among experts in Kombucha – her name is Hannah at Kombucha Kamp. She sells the best scobies and she has all kinds of free resources available on how to get started. If you sign up for her emails you will get a ton of info from her for free on how to get started brewing. Here’s her website: http://www.kombuchakamp.com/ Hope this helps! Stay tuned for the cultured food series in April! Blessings, Kelly 🙂
