A New Year – A New Meal Plan!

By Kelly · 18 Comments

TNH Jan6-12 Meal PlanIt’s a New Year and I’ve got some exciting new changes in store for you. So please be sure to read this note before clicking over to see the new meal plan so you’re in the know on how it all works!

First, I’m thrilled to share an all-new meal plan format that makes it easier than ever to click-over for the recipes featured in each week’s whole food menu.

As you’ll discover, my new meal plan graphic opens into a convenient pdf that includes hyperlinks to each of the recipes. Once opened, you can easily save this menu to your desktop for easy access anytime you need to reference it. Then, simply click on the links within the meal planning pdf to gain instant access to the recipes featured.

But wait, there’s more … no, you won’t be getting a set of Ginsu knives … but you will be able to download two helpful new additions, if you opt in as a subscriber to The Nourishing Home.

As a subscriber to The Nourishing Home, you’ll receive a …
• New Weekly Shopping List outlining all of the ingredients needed to make each dinner featured; as well as an awesome new
• Prep Day Chart featuring helpful tips and recommendations for prep-ahead tasks that make putting meals together a snap during busy weekdays.

Two common questions that inquiring minds are asking …

I just subscribed. How do I access the new Shopping List and Prep Day Tasks Chart?

Note to New Subscribers: Once you sign-up, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. (This is very important because you are not subscribed until you confirm). Once you confirm your subscription to The Nourishing Home, you will receive an email within an hour or so titled “Thank You Gifts For Subscribing.” This email contains details for downloading the new shopping list and prep day chart. (Check your spam, if you subscribed but don’t see any emails.)

I’m already a subscriber. When will I receive the new Shopping List and Prep Day Tasks Chart?

Note to Subscribers: If you’re already a subscriber, you will receive my Weekly Nourishing Home Newsletter on Friday morning each week. Inside each issue are links for downloading the current week’s meal plan and subscriber-only meal planning extras: the new shopping list and prep day tasks chart. (Check your spam, if you subscribed but don’t see any emails.)

To learn more about meal planning, please check out my FREE Video Course: Mastering Meal Planning.

My hope is that these free tools will be a great resource
and encouragement for you whether you’re just getting started with meal planning, or are a seasoned expert.

Kelly you are truly such a blessing! The new meal plan format rocks and I love it! I appreciate all of the time and hard work you put into doing this. I assume if we are already a subscriber we will receive the shopping lists-is that correct? Thanks again so much!

Yes, Mindy and I have to apologize because I had meant for the meal plan to come to you all (subscriber-friends) BEFORE it went live here and at TBM site. But I messed up. You will get an email from me today (Jan 4) with the new Shopping List and Prep Day Instructions. Thanks for your kind words and patience. Blessings, Kelly 🙂

Hello! I’m new to your site- actually just stumbled upon it and I’m really looking forward to using your meal plans. Quick question: I noticed on the January 6-12 meal plan, you start with a Sunday. But the 6th of Jan is a Monday. Wondering about that? Same with the next 13th-19th. The 13th is a Monday, but you’re starting with Sunday. Thanks!

Amanda, your eagle eyes are awesome. Thank you for taking the time to leave me a kind note. Yep, I made a boo-boo! Originally, I had my meal plans running Mon-Sun. But I when I made the new format, I changed to Sun-Sat but forgot to change the dates. Oops! So you are correct, the dates are off. I’ll go back and adjust the dates, so I don’t make this error the next time around. Thanks again for your kind note. Blessings, Kelly 🙂

I have no words! (and that in itself is a miracle!) I have been manually adding your meals to your blank menu template and adding the links myself as well as trying to paste all of the separate recipe ingredients into excel & then trying to consolidate each ingredient so it was only listed one time for my shopping list…..as you can probably guess, I am new to meal planning and this was taking me hours and my hubby was really questioning the value of meal planning/cooking from scratch when all of it was taking me so much time. I am SO GRATEFUL to you! I was already so grateful, but now it is like 100 fold! THANK YOU!! You are such a blessing and I will be remembering you in my prayers for a long time to come!

Oh my goodness girl! You are a true-blue meal planner! I am so glad to make this a lot easier for you, although I think you more than anyone now have a good understanding of what it takes to put these meal plans together. LOL! Thank you for your loyalty and for taking the time to leave such a kind note! You really blessed me today! With much appreciation, Kelly 🙂

Kelly, this is an amazing site. I just stumbled across it when I googled meal planning about a week ago and you do an amazing job 🙂 I literally started thinking about meal planning to save money on our grocery bill each month, so thank you for putting up free meal plans. You have so many great resources & links, & now I’m looking into real foods with a visit to a farm at the weekend. Thank you so much for sharing your gifts & I am super excited about meal planning & our family food from here on in. Thank you for all your hard work, you are amazing 🙂

My hubby and I have been wanting to get our food budget under control and have a meal plan that I just didn’t know how to get the whole thing together, esp with our background coming from two completely different cultures – we don’t like eating the same things. All that to say, it’s another blog, but this system will help with planning and I love that you share the info for free which is truly a blessing. I’m going to try a few things and share with my family so we can agree on meals in order to do purchases and then stick to that budget. Thanks Kelly! I’m so thankful that the Lord allowed me to fall upon thebettermom site and now your site!
