Hi, Friends! Several of you have asked about the “Healthy Ice Pops & Frozen Treats” eBook that I’m providing free to all subscribers of The Nourishing Home as a special “thank you” for subscribing.
The two most frequent questions are:
1) When will I get the eBook? I subscribed, but haven’t gotten an email yet.
2) Is the link working, the eBook didn’t seem to download for me?
In order to help better clarify, I’ve updated the original post about the eBook today, in order to answer in advance these questions for future subscribers. But thought it important to also do a separate post to reach out to all those who’ve already subscribed as well.
1) To answer the first question:
When will I get the eBook? I subscribed, but haven’t gotten an email yet.
When you signed-up to be a subscriber of The Nourishing Home, you should have received an email from Feedburner(Google) asking you to confirm your subscription. If you didn’t get that email, please look in your spam folder because sometimes these confirmation emails end up in spam, depending on your spam filter settings.
If you did get the confirmation email and did follow the steps to confirm your subscription to The Nourishing Home with Feedburner. Then, may I ask for your patience just a bit longer because I promise, you will get an email each time I publish a new post to the website. That’s because this Feedburner(Google) email subscription program is based on alerting subscribers when a new post is published.
So, each time I publish a new post on this site, you will receive an email within 24-hours alerting you of the new post. In that email, there will also be a link to the eBook at the bottom of the email. This link will be provided in each email you receive now through the end of this special promotion. So please be patient, it may take a couple of days for you to receive an email update depending on when you confirmed your email subscription.
2) With regard to the second question:
Is the link working, the eBook didn’t seem to download for me?
Due to the LARGE file size of the eBook, it may take 2-3 minutes to download depending on the speed of your computer and internet connection. So it’s normal for the link to appear as a big gray box until the eBook is fully downloaded. (I know 2 minutes seems like 52 hours when it comes to downloading files!) So again, I have to ask for your patience with allowing ample time for the download to complete.
Why does it take so long download? Because of all of the pretty photos! I really wanted to provide photos of each of the pops, but all those photos and graphics create a much larger file, which means a longer download time. I’m working to find a solution to decrease the file size so the eBook will download more quickly. :)
If you have any trouble with downloading the book after waiting a reasonable amount of time, then please do email me and let me know. I certainly want to make this as easy as I can, and do appreciate in advance your patience and grace!

Hi, I am still unable to access the free e-book. The link leads to a blank gray page and the caption goes back to google.
A gray box is not uncommon, usually it will take about 3-5 minutes to download due to the large file size. However, there have been a couple of people that it just doesn’t download. I think it may have to do with the file size timing out on some computers. I’ll email you the file so you don’t have to keep trying it – definitely don’t want to cause any further inconvenience! Apologies, it’s been a stinker for some to download!
